TRAVEL & STUFF

Camping ARc De Bara is next to a small coastal village called Roda de Berà driving takes under 1 hour south of Barcelona and 20 minutes north of Tarragona.

How the hell do i get there with public transport?

Just get a train to the closest station called Sant Vicenç de Calders. From Barcelona central there are express trains as fast as 30 minutes but it can take up to 1 hour on the scenic coastal route.

From the train station a short Taxi journey to Camping Arc De Bara.

Nearest Airports:

Barcelona EL PRAT is the best and biggest and main Barcelona airport. From the aiport you get the airport train into the city, change at Barcelona Sants. Then look for the train to Sant Vicenç de Calders.

This journey can be purchased at the airport station for just a few euros!

Barcelona Reus airport is in fact close to Tarragona. Usually only charter flights landing here. But if you land here then

1) Take the number 50 bus from the airport to the "Renfe" REUS Train Station.(few mins)

2) At the train station you have to take a train to “Sant Vicenç de Calders”. The train line you can take are: R14 or R15.

The Girona airport is an hour north of Barcelona and is a bit more tricky to travel from but not impossible. Just get a bus or train into Barcelona central and then take the coastal train out to "Vincent de Calders" If you hire a car then its no problem from Gerona airport!

It is also possible to get back into Barcelona at night if you are just coming for the day but i will leave that bit of detective work up to you!

TAXIS from the airport all the way can be around 100€ or more but not bad if you are 4 people. Camping Arc De Bara can sometimes arrange airport pickups with private drivers. contact them for info.
